Samar learns that Prem's health has improved significantly.Aarti is overjoyed to learn about this and suggests that they adopt Kathy's son (who is still her son since Sameer had no rights to him), so he can be a part of their family. Samar agrees and they return to the hospital where they adopt a boy. After bringing the boy home, Samar realises that Kathy lied about her son being adopted because his birthdate was the same as their adopted boy. He also remembers that Kathy called him Sameer but he does not reveal this secret to Aarti.
